Generac’s QT02724GNAX 27-Kilowatt Liquid-Cooled Standby Generator has an automotive-grade liquid cooled engine which provides clean, consistent power to sensitive electronics that are susceptible to overload. The 2.4-liter engine revolves 1,800-RPM and has an optional engine block heater. The engine is liquid and air-cooled and automatically turns on in the event of power failure. This 3-phase generator runs on natural gas or liquid propane and is rated for 120/208-volts. Other features include a mainline circuit breaker, (frequency-compensated) voltage regulation and centralized input connections. This generator comes with a 2-amp static battery charger, a 12-volt battery rack and a weekly built-in exerciser. The following items are required (not included): 12-volt Group-26 battery, a minimum battery requirement of 525-CCA and a residential transfer switch. The generator measures 62.2-inch long by 29-inch wide by 33-1/2-inch high and features a fault indictor light to reduce outage time and over crank protection. The aluminum housing is strong and resists rust and abrasions. Use the hour meter to measure how long the generator runs and monitor your oil, temperature and coolant levels without hassle. This generator has an inlet on its base frame and a 3/4-NPT. The propane load consumption is 3.9-GPH and the minimum gas pressure is 5-14-WC. The sound level rating is 61-DBA which is similar to the sound of a vacuum cleaner. Generac’s QT02724GNAX 27-Kilowatt Liquid-Cooled Standby Generator weighs 891-pounds and is UL and cUL compliant.
